Emissions and Climate Change

Emissions and Climate Change is one of QIMO Indus. material dimensions. Within this dimension, we have established goals for one material issue Climate Change. We identified the material issue through internal and external stakeholder engagement by ailigning with long-term business strategy and emerging trends and issues of importance.

We believe an issue is material if it meets two conditions: if it impacts our business significantly in terms of growth, cost or risk and if it is important to our stakeholders and they expect us to take action on the issue. In determining if an issue is material, we consider our impacts across the entire value chain.

As part of our safety culture, QIMO Indus. also is promoting the highest levels of safety and security performance in the industry, with standards built on the environmental, health, safety and quality aspects of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.

Ethics and Governance

QIMO Indus. is committed to sound corporate governance practices that make our management team more effective. We also ensure that we engage shareholders in matters related to corporate governance.

QIMO’s supply chain includes local, regional and global partners from whom we purchase products and services, including diesel, logistics, maintenance services and capital equipment. Suppliers, especially those of chemicals and other hazardous materials, are held to the same EHS standards as our internal operations. For this reason, comprehensive screening of our suppliers is critical.
